The streets in our neighborhood still show evidence of the snow covered winter that once was. As if to say, don't forget what you have lived through. Sand that was used to deice slick pavement is still streaked along the side of the roads juxtaposing the lush green grass that stops at the curb edge.
In some cases we are not meant to forget the difficult seasons behind us. The harsh winters the Lord carried us through. For it is in the remembering that we can can truly appreciate the budding growth of spring.
